VOY Advises Rail-Flow on Seed Financing Round

Frankfurt-based freight tech start-up Rail-Flow has closed a financing round of EUR 3.6M. The investors are venture capital funds Rethink Ventures and Futury Capital, Katrin Suder (investor, senior advisor, and supervisory board member), Alexander Hedderich (former CEO of DB Schenker Rail and chairman of the Rail-Flow advisory board), and Jürgen Ringbeck (serial investor and honorary professor at WHU).

About Rail-Flow
Founded in 2020, the startup operates a platform for rail freight and intermodal transportation that is designed to facilitate processes such as tendering, transport management, real-time tracking and invoicing. The two founders, Dominik Fürste and Osman Akdemir, want to help shift more freight from road to rail and digitize rail freight. They also want to create an impetus for more climate-friendly freight transport by connecting and networking freight forwarders, rail freight operators and shippers.
