VOY Advises At One Ventures on USD 9.1 M Seed Round of Factor2 Energy
Kristian Lutz, Niko Wengenmayr, and Nico Nagel acted as legal counsel to US-based venture capital firm At One Ventures, which led the oversubscribed USD 9.1 million seed round of Factor2 Energy. The round also saw participation from Siemens Energy Ventures, High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), and Verve Ventures.
Factor2 Energy, a green energy spin-out from Siemens Energy based in Duisburg, is developing a novel geothermal technology that uses supercritical CO₂ as a working fluid. The approach enables up to twice the net power at shallower depths with lower capital costs, unlocking new sites, reducing engineering risk, and scaling clean energy without scarce water.
