VOY Advises Planet A on Seed Investment in one.five

one.five raised EUR 10.5M to transform the packaging industry and replace single-use plastics.

The Seed financing round was led by a syndicate of investors including Planet A Ventures, Speedinvest, Green Generation Fund, Climentum Capital, Revent, and WEPA Ventures.

one.fıve was founded by Martin Weber (former CFO of vertical indoor farming unicorn Infarm) and Claire Hae-Min Gusko (previously Head of Business Strategy at Infarm). The Hamburg-based startup plans to tackle the highly pollutive USD 1 trillion packaging market, reducing carbon emissions with their biomaterials by up to 76%.

The team aims to discover and commercialize biomaterials to provide customized, cleaner, and circular packaging solutions and to integrate these into existing consumer packaging value chains. The initial focus is on high-performance, functional coatings for paper-based packaging solutions. Following this financing round, one.fıve has announced to launch a replacement for non-recyclable multi-layer single-use sachets targeting specifically the Asian market.
