Sunhat Closes EUR 9.2 M Series A Financing Round with Support from VOY
Clemens Koós and Nico Nagel have advised our long-term client Sunhat in raising an equity investment of EUR 9.2M in their latest financing round.
The Cologne-based startup has secured a Series A Financing Round of EUR 9.2 million. The round was led by CommerzVentures, with participation from existing investors Capnamic, EnBW New Ventures, xdeck, and WEPA Ventures.
VOY has been advising the company since its incorporation and already supported them in their Pre-Seed and Seed Financing Rounds.
Sunhat has achieved tenfold growth over the past 15 months and aims to reach 500 leading enterprise customers across 20+ countries in Europe, the UK, and North America.
To support this growth, Sunhat will double its team and expand its AI-native platform, enabling instant compliance validation across 100+ global standards. The company also plans to add 20 new integration partners, helping enterprises close the “proof gap” faster, reduce costs, and build trust with stakeholders.
