VOY Advises ecoworks on Series A Financing Round
A VOY team led by Johannes Steinacher has supported ecoworks in their EUR 22M series A financing round.
Berlin-based start-up ecoworks, the innovation leader for serial climate-neutral renovation, has successfully closed its latest financing round. The international consortium of investors includes leading venture capital funds such as PT1 - PropTech1 Ventures, Zacua Ventures, and Blackhorn Ventures as well as innovative industry experts such as Warema Group, ALP.X Group, and the owners of Huf Group and Sabanci Building Solutions.
Serial refurbishment is expected to become a pillar for the cost-efficient and accelerated energy turnaround in the building sector as the largest asset class in the world. Stricter European and German climate regulations are expected to further accelerate the growth of the carbon-neutral renovation market. "This round allows us to break even. Profitability is critical to building a leading player in the renovation sector," says Emanuel Heisenberg, CEO of ecoworks. "Our main focus is now on delivery, cost reduction of our product, and further development of our software platform".
